Clone "Parts Packs"

Clone rockets are models that can be re-produced from plans and parts to represent rocket models that are no longer available. My complete parts packs include all common parts necessary to reproduce the model listed. Instructions and decals are not included. See special building notes at the bottom of page.

Just do these 3 steps for cloning success!

1- Purchase parts pack of your choice.

2- Zip over to Excelsior Rocketry and purchase a decal.

3- Download the instructions and patterns at JimZ's website or Ye Olde Rocket Shoppe.

Scroll all the way to the bottom for the new arrivals!

*Building Notes-

(1) - Andromeda-Item "K" must be supplied by builder. Sheet cardboard such as the backing from a legal works fine. Fins are from balsa stock and are not die or laser cut.

(2) - Deep Space Transport- Die cut cards need to be made from cardboard such as the backing from a legal pad, however, rings are included. Nose cone has been replaced with a balsa nose cone and steel eyelet.

(3) - Alien Explorer- Die cut cards need to be made from cardboard such as the backing from a legal pad, however, rings are included. Nose cone has been replaced with a balsa nose cone and steel eyelet.

(4) - Farside X - The Farside X does not include a decal.

(5) - Mars Snooper - Kit does not include shroud sheets. These need to be downloaded, along with the rest of the instructions. Shroud sheet should be printed on "LEGAL" size paper and printer should be set as such. Also, kit contains laser cut fins sheet in place of balsa.

(6) - Sprite - Kit includes all parts needed to complete as the original model. I also have included a simple friction style motor mount that can be used for a flying streamer type model so I have left out the exhaust hole. (Hole can easily be made using a empty engine casing for backing and a 1/4" drill) Streamer material is included.
